White Hot Heat

One of my favorite things about being in Miami has been watching the Heat dominate and having people to celebrate with! We went to a road rally for Game 6 against the Boston Celtics. It was so much fun being in a room full of crazy Heat fans! Valentina and Oscar also came to watch the game with us.

They had the Heat dancers there, a live announcer, and the game projected on a big screen. They also gave away a ton of free stuff. We got a drawstring bookbag, a keychain, a watch, a magnet, temporary tattoos, a sticker for our car...the list goes on. But the most coveted item was the white Heat sunglasses. They even had a White Hot version of Burnie!

Unfortunately, we lost this game. But we went to another road rally in the actual arena for Game 7. 

The Miami Heat Street Band played salsa music.

So this game was SO. MUCH. FUN. Lebron James scored 45 points. It was amazing. I love that man. The arena was so loud. Needless to say, we spanked the Celtics and won the Eastern Conference Championship! We are so excited for the game tomorrow. I hope we beat OKC tomorrow. That way, Blaine will experience how crazy Miami gets when we win a Championship! Also, all the sport commentators and Heat haters will stop criticizing Lebron for not having a ring!
