"Take Me Out to the Ball Game..."

On Memorial Day weekend, we went to watch the Marlins play the Nationals. The whole fam came. Jonathan and Kim joined us, too. I hadn't been to a Marlins game in forever. Growing up, we went all the time. I remember when we won the World Series twice - once in 2nd grade and the other in 8th grade. 

This game was different, since the Florida Marlins became the Miami Marlins this year. They built a new stadium that was amazing. It has a retractable roof for rainy and blazing hot days. The roof was closed when we went and the entire stadium had A/C. It felt so good! Marlins park was just top of the line. It had so many restaurants that really reflected the Miami culture. We had pan con lechon and mariquitas. Behind the plate, they had a fish tank. There was also an animated statue that moved when we hit a homerun. There's also a pool in the stadium. Imagine watching the game while swimming! I loved it all. 

The game was a lot of fun. We had a lot of fun as a family and with our friends. And to top it all off, we won!
