Meet Rue

We got a dog. Yes, we did. Ever since we moved out of Harmony Square, I knew the day would come soon. Blaine has been looking for a while now. When we saw this little girl, we knew we would be taking her home. Her name is Rue (Blaine named her after the character from the Hunger Games even though he's only seen the movie...ha). She's a Mini Aussie. Blaine wanted a "manly" big dog who was very active, and I wanted a small, cute dog for companionship. Well this was the middle ground. She is very playful and has lots of energy. She is super smart and can already sit on command. She is almost potty trained and has gone to the bathroom outside more than in the house.

Now, Blaine and Rue are pretty much in love. I'm kinda jealous. They were together all day today. They even took a nap together :)

This is a big thing for us, especially for me. I'm not a huge dog-lover. I'm not into the shedding, the licking, the poop and pee. But Blaine is doing a great job at training Rue to be a smart and obedient dog. Wish us luck on this new adventure. We love Rue so much already!

Animal Kingdom

The last day we were there, we visited Animal Kingdom. It was by far the sunniest day.

So while we were walking around, we ran into a little street show. Bruce, Blaine, and Papo were asked to participate in a "block party." I couldn't stop laughing the whole time! We have quite the dancers in our family!

Tree of Life
It was a pretty eventful day. We rode the rapids and got soaked. Later on, we rode Mt. Everest (I love that ride). We ate lunch and headed out to the Dinosaur ride. The ride was pretty bumpy and Tia's backpack fell off during the ride. The manager didn't want to stop the ride until the park closed to retrieve the bag. She had the keys of the car there, her wallet, her medication - everything. So we ended up getting it faster than expected. After, we rode the safari. As a result of the fallen-backpack, we received 11 Fast Passes to use on whatever ride we wanted to. So we rode Mt. Everest again :) Finally, had to head back home. It felt weird going to Disney and not visiting Magic Kingdom. Besides that, it was a wonderful trip to the most magical place on earth!

Hollywood Studios

The second day, we went to Hollywood Studios. It was a great day! We rode the fairly new Toy Story ride, my favorite roller coaster, and the Tower of Terror. We also had too much of the classic Mickey Mouse chocolate ice cream bars :)

We left the park early and went back to the hotel. Blaine met up with Kerri and the gang at Downtown Disney (I couldn't go cause we didn't want there to be more people in the car than seat belts). I went to the outlets with my mom, Damaris, Tia, and Emily. It was good girl bonding time! Late at night, we went to Olive Garden and met up with Jonathan & Kimberly. It was so good to see them!

Epcot

This past weekend, we went to Disney with my family. We had a blast. Friday afternoon, we went to Epcot with Papo, Emily, and my mom. The rest of the gang arrived later. We had a great time! We were there for the last week of the International Flower & Garden Festival. I loved seeing all the beautiful flowers!

After the park, we went to the hotel and met up with the rest of the family. We all got in the pool. It was a gorgeous day!
